We've been big fans of these rods ever since they were brought to market. The Helios line of fly rods from Orvis utilize high modulus graphite in conjunction with proprietary thermoplastic resins - resulting in an amazingly lightweight, yet powerful fly rod design. Add to that an attractive finish with a woven graphite reel seat and recoil snake guides and the result is a rod that looks as good as it fishes!
Made in the USA by Orvis - all Helios rod models come with an unconditional 25 Year Warranty, a carbon fiber rod tube,and are exclusively available as 4-piece models. A standard reel seat comes on all rod models up to the 9 foot 6 weight model; a "saltwater" reel seat which include a fighting butt is standard on the 9 1/2 6 weight and heavier models.
